Just about to go to powermax again but thought ill post 2 pictures taken 20min ago. Ive been good today but lunch was rather calorific because of 228g of salmon i had. Now ive been told to ignore most calories in fish because its so healthy etc..so i know i shouldnt be too bothered about it. Ive already burnt 429calories just walking today and powermax should be another 300-350 if i push. Im planning to have yoghurt with psyllium husks when i get back because i had 150g of turkey fillet just now.

Walk

Me and marley went for a long walk and i manage to burn about 524 calories. Well needed! Kept the calorie intake low and ate about 1350 calories today. I have about 450 calories left to eat because of the walk but not going to have any more to eat.

Had greek style yoghurt with honey for breakfast (200g)

Lunch was one plantain fried in some oliveoil with a packet of ready sliced peppered steak.

Dinner was a beef mince stuffed green pepper with.mange tout, tomatoes and red onion. I also had a soy latte in john lewis earlier and a tea with one tablespoon of honey. Good stuff

Hopeless day

Stayed more or less within my calorie limit. Ate 1320calories and have another 165 to eat because i went for a walk that burned 285calories.

Here is lunch: ham hock with lentil and couscous salad and tomatoes.

Dinner was plantains, chicken, rice and raw red onion.

Had soy yoghurt with psyllium husks for brekkie and same as a snack but added 50g blueberries.

Stupid

Maybe not that clever to go to cosmos for lunch.they have a huge lunch selection with eat as much as you want. I was pretty good.avoided the deep fried stuff and dessert and opted for some currys and rice instead. It was tasty. Came home and slept for a hour before marley woke up too. Checked my wach and we walked 10,3km and apparently i burned 660calories. Dunno if that is right.but great if it its. Kept low foodwise.had blueberries,raspberries and 2 stilton/walnut flatbreads and now enjoying a glass of rose wine. Thats it for tonight. Calorie wise i had 1273 calories today.not bad.

Finally friday

Long day..didnt have time to eat breakfast so picked up a small pot of natural yoghurt and ate it with fresh blueberries. Went to the steiner playgroup with marley and then to my college to drop some stuff. I was so hungry when we went back to town so bought sushi and ate it on the way to the bus home. Went to spin and had beetroot and goat cheese salad with chicken after. It was yum! Kept it within the calorie allowance and going to weigh my self in 7 days. Cant wait!

another recovery day

Long day, i had a long walk and had a steady breakfast. yoghurt and ryebread with a small can of pilchards in tomato sauce. had salmon fillet and fried plantain for lunch and oh my god the plantain was so tasty. its pretty low calorie aswell so i bought lots when i went shopping with keirs mum. and for dinner i had leek and mushroom rice (1 cup) with chicken and bacon in a cream fraiche sauce. all very tasty too.. and a small slice of cinnamon tart i made. i got a jamaican mango and beef stew cooking on the hob at the moment. because it need to be cooking slowly for 2 hrs or so i figured ill do it now because i have spin and powermax tomorrow and dont want to rush. i was thinking about serving the food with fried plantain and a side salad of cucumber, tomato and onion. food intake been ok today.. ive eaten 1424 calories and burned 426 calories. so i have 202 calories left to eat but just going to have some more water before bed

lots of exercise

this is a bit nuts.. the breakdown of todays calorie intake is Breakfast: 199 cal lunch: 430 cal Dinner: 849 cal :because i had 2 cans of mackerel in tomato sauce, fish is pretty calorific, but its all good fats! Snack: 81 calories (apple) But then ive done loads of walking (12.5km) and 33min on the crosstrainer. so the website is telling me to eat another 647 calories. apparently ive burned 1006 calories in total from the activities. but im really not hungry as i had a really yummy dinner, with the mackerel i had chilli couscous and lots of steamed cauliflower and broccoli. ive read this post that its important to eat up the calories you burn so the body dont go into starvation mode. but then its not just daily but weekly calorie intake and because i had so much food yesterday im just going to keep the numbers low to get the balance back. this is because i ate around 3300 calories yesterday.. who thought a huge steakdinner, starter and baked alaska dessert would be so much :P

day after the big feast

no college today so after dropping off Xavier in school me and Marley walked in to town, we had breakfast in starbucks, creamy plain yoghurt for me and luxury fruit bread with butter and strawberry jam for marley. i also had a soy cappuchino. after that we walked around in the shops and looked for a present for marleys childminder. he is doing his last day with her tomorrow so wanted to get her something nice. we found a really pretty mug with flowers in john lewis and some nice teabags to go with it. and also bought a miniature orchid in dusky pink. i checked how much i walked and it was almost 8km and i burned 476 calories. great! been chilling for a couple of hours at home now. going to make dinner soon.. green coconut curry with turkey for the adults and polenta and sausage for the little ones. i got spin tonight and undecided wether to do circuits before. it would be good for me but i need to do some shopping so thought i go and do that before the spin.. otherwise its going to be tight with time as the circuits starts at 6.

wedding anniversary

Had a lovely wedding anniversary yesterday. cant believe ive been married for 6 years :) as you can guess i decided to just eat what i like and not count calories and stuff.. i kept the food intake low during the day, yoghurt with psyllium husks and roast chicken with tomato salad for lunch.. we went for a drink in terranova before our dinner and i had a big glass of gallo (rose) we went to miller and carter, a steakhouse down the bay, we ordered a breadboard with olives while we decided what to have.. and shared a platter with calamari squid, cheesy mushrooms, buffalo wings in bbq sauce, garlic bread and aioli and bbq sauce to go with it and a slice of onion loaf. main was 14oz Tbone steak (very well done) with fries, coleslaw, parsley butter, chimichurri, a lettuce wedge with bacon and honey mustard dressing and one slice onion loaf i had baked alaska with raspberry coulis and whipped cream and it was gorgeous and had a moscow mule to drink during the food. really really really nice evening with my hubby.

progress!

yesterday i did alot of walking, went to town after the morning playgroup with marley and then in the afternoon i walked to the gym and did a 45min spin class. i kept the calories low by eating foody salads and had yoghurt for breakfast and sushi and some chicken for lunch. i felt lighter and not as bloated as yesterday when i woke up. so i stepped on the scale just to have a look.. it showed 65.7kg so i lost 1.3kg since yesterday. i am very relieved! going for a walk in to town now which is about 80min walk in total now. hopefully updating later.

day 1

After a long autumn and winter with alot of sickness and schoolwork i stopped running somewhere in the middle of it. and even if i maintained my cardio classes and a few strenght sessions every week i have steadily gained weight.i didnt think i would come to this point when im back at the same weight i was a year or so ago. its very upsetting but it also give me motivation to do something about it. my lowest weight just after christmas was 57kg.. and this morning when i got on the scale it showed 67kg. so you can imagine how it feels. so here am i..starting this blog to keep track of what im doing. will update tonight with what i ate and activities.
